Senior C++ Engineer - Engine Team - Remote in EU

About Us :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer for our Engine Team. The ideal candidate will have strong C++ knowledge and an understanding of system design and architecture for developing applications across various platforms. Our portfolio includes Prezi Present, Prezi Design, and Prezi Video. In this role, you will work on developing the Engine layer of Prezi Present and Prezi Video — our flagship presentation products — and enhance user experiences.

You will :

1. Design, develop, and maintain our high-performance, multi-platform C++ rendering engine.
2. Ensure the performance and quality of our applications.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
4. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
5. Contribute to the overall product vision.

Main requirements :

1. 5+ years of professional experience in software development with C++.
2. Experience in game engine development, multimedia, or systems programming.
3. Proven experience in system design and architecture.
4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
5. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
6. Strong communication in English and collaboration skills.

Nice to have :

1. Experience with graphics APIs (OpenGL, Direct3D, Metal, Vulkan, etc.).
2. Experience with multimedia APIs (Core Media, Media Foundation, etc.).
3. Familiarity with other programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, or C#.
4. Experience with multi-platform development.
5. Experience with build systems (e.g., CMake, Makefile, Gradle).
