A life science research institute in Milan is seeking two Senior Buyers to manage complex procurement of goods and services. Human Technopole (HT) is an interdisciplinary life science research institute, created and supported by the Italian Government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to improve human health. HT is composed of five Centers : Neurogenomics, Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Genomics, and Health Data Science. The Centers work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment that promotes life science research both nationally and internationally.
The Procurement Office supports the entire Institute in sourcing and acquiring goods, services, and works in full compliance with Italian and EU public procurement regulations. It plays a strategic role in enabling research and operations by ensuring transparency, efficiency, and value across all procurement activities.
For the Planning and Procurement division, HT is hiring two Senior Buyers , to manage procurement of complex goods, services, and works, managing the entire purchase cycle autonomously.
The role includes supplier scouting, negotiation, contract finalization, and strategic advisory to internal stakeholders. It ensures compliance with public procurement code and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement area.
