Webuild Group is currently hiring a Senior Buyer for its Commodity Materials and Permanent Systems division at the headquarters in Milan.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Global Commodity Manager and coordinate with unit buyers to define procurement strategies for materials and permanent systems.
• Manage the sourcing process, including supplier list creation, request for proposals, and negotiations to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.
• Contribute to company and procurement team objectives.
• Ensure compliance with global supply chain policies and company standards.
• Analyze and compare supplier offers, coordinate technical checks, and prepare summary reports with recommendations.
• Draft terms and conditions of agreements and purchase orders, coordinating with legal and requesting departments.
• Maintain supplier relationships in accordance with the company's ethics and compliance standards.
• Assist regional supply chain and procurement managers in creating procurement plans.
• Support bidding processes and startup teams during bidding phases.
• Participate in report analysis and implement corrective actions to address procurement issues.
• Help define and implement commodity strategies.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within multinational environments.
• Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Management.
• Skills in market analysis and benchmarking.
• Experience in supplier base selection, development, and management.
• Ability to perform prime cost driver analyses.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM.
• Willingness to travel and work at sites and joint ventures.
• Fluent in English.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP.
