Dana Incorporated in Parma, Italy is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies for hydraulic components and related technical commodities. You will lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and supplier qualification to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory, supplier performance, and risk management in a manufacturing environment.

Competenze

• 7-10+ years of procurement experience within manufacturing environments.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, manifolds, fittings, castings, forgings, machined parts, and assemblies.
• Lead supplier selection processes, RFQs, cost analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier qualification activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and drive supplier performance improvements.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews focused on quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and sustainability.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements to achieve cost reduction targets.
• Identify savings opportunities through market analysis, benchmarking, and value engineering initiatives.
• Monitor commodity trends and proactively manage supply market risks.
• Support new product development and product change initiatives in partnership with Engineering.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to improve inventory management, supply continuity, and supplier quality performance.
