Job Opportunity: Senior Buyer

Location: Cadelbosco di Sopra, Italy

We are seeking a Senior Buyer to manage procurement for machine groups and subcontracting.

Responsibilities:

1. Scout, select, and initiate partnerships with third-party vendors for machine group assembly, carpenters/balancers, and suppliers of mechanical parts/processing;
2. Monitor third-party vendors and suppliers through visits and audits, resolve technical issues, and conduct cost analysis;
3. Manage mechanical subcontracting processes independently, including scheduling and tracking progress, managing material flow, and resolving logistical issues in coordination with Purchasing, Warehouse, and other relevant departments;
4. Perform economic analyses, such as budget vs. actual cost deviations and make-or-buy assessments;
5. Develop processes and information systems within the scope of procurement.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the quality, cost-effectiveness, logistical performance, and production capacity of the machine group subcontractor network;
2. Achieve cost, punctuality, and quality objectives for supplies;
3. Ensure rapid resolution of urgent and critical supply issues, balancing timeliness, quality, and cost;
4. Require experience in the machinery/packaging sector, particularly in procurement of machine groups and subcontracting;
5. Mechanical knowledge of materials, components, and machine groups;
6. Proficiency in English;
7. Flexibility and adaptability.
