A global technology firm in Milan is seeking a Senior Business Manager. In this role, you will develop business strategies and manage customer relationships while ensuring strong team engagement and financial monitoring. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of IT experience and a B2 level in English. This position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to lead in a dynamic environment.

Senior Business Manager IT

As a Senior Business Manager within Akkodis, your role is key in our sales development strategy. You are responsible for developing business within your assigned portfolio and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Management
  • Assess, benchmark and establish customer contacts
  • Develop your portfolio of strategic customers and prospects
  • Intervene in the negotiation of important commercial and contractual conditions
  • Develop a strong customer relationship by implementing contracts
  • Promote all the Group's service offerings
  • Play an anchor role for a dynamic and lasting customer relationship with continuous follow-ups
People Management
  • Active involvement in the sourcing and selection process of candidates and new hires
  • Explore all avenues of building a strong candidate pipeline such as employee referrals, social sites, job fairs, etc.
  • Partner with recruiters and staffing partners to recruit the right talent in line with customer requirements
  • Develop proactive candidate pipelines to cater to open positions
  • Engage with a team of technical consultants with the help of HR tools such as induction plans, training plans, and performance management
Financials Management
  • Build business plans (long-term plans, budget, forecasts)
  • Track and monitor business parameters such as revenue, operating margin, employee turnover, cash management, and change management
  • Manage profit and loss for your profit center (investments, overheads, resource billability, invoicing process)
Qualifications

We're looking for a Senior Business Manager with a strong business aptitude, with at least 5 years of experience in the IT sector.

Good listener and communicator, convincing and pro-active, autonomous personality who can manage own priorities, team player focusing on the company’s interests, with initiative and motivation to reach planned and ambitious goals.

Deep knowledge of English language is mandatory (B2 level).
