Un'agenzia di reclutamento innovativa cerca un Senior Business Development Manager per coprire l'Italia. Sarà responsabile di gestire nuovi account nel mercato europeo e collaborare con il Global Sales Director per sviluppare strategie di vendita efficaci. È richiesta una laurea magistrale e almeno 5 anni di esperienza nel settore B2B, preferibilmente nel settore nutraceutico. È fondamentale essere un comunicatore efficace e fluente in italiano e inglese, con disponibilità per frequenti viaggi.

  • Esperienza nel settore nutraceutico e ingredienti botanici è un plus.
  • Conoscenza della gestione dei cicli di vendita lunghi.

Our client is an international company specializing in the development and manufacturing of differentiated natural ingredients.

Following significant growth in recent years, the company has expanded its presence in key European and international markets. We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager M / F to cover Italy.

Directly reporting to the Deputy Sales Director, you are identified as a sales hunter.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, capture and manage new accounts in the European market
  • Provide greater product recommendations to customer thanks to your Product and Services knowledge
  • To develop and define in coordination with the Global Sales Director a sales strategy the annual sales plan for your region
  • To manage distributors and motivate them to visit customers
  • To execute the existing sales growth plan
  • To actively contribute to the identification of market trends, surveillance of competition, detect sales and development opportunities, store-checks, etc., to achieve an unbeatable positioning of our products in the market.
  • To support the Sales and Marketing teams at exhibitions and events
  • To know the sales figures, forecasts, potential sales projects, competitors….
  • To follow up existing business and prospecting to generate new businesses and reach your sales objectives.
  • To know how to make the customer the focus of your presentation when visiting them.
  • To direct and co-operate with the Global Account Manager visits when visiting Global Accounts in the area

About you

You hold a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Nutrition, or Biology, and have at least 5 years of professional experience in a B2B environment, working with manufacturers, distributors, and CMOs. Experience in the nutraceutical industry and botanical ingredients is a plus, as is a background in international commercial development.

You are a proactive hunter, eager to travel regularly. You have a proven track record managing long sales cycles for scientifically validated products with therapeutic benefits.

You’re known for being autonomous, analytical, and flexible, with a pragmatic mindset. Colleagues describe you as rigorous, resilient under pressure, and an excellent communicator.

You are a native Italian speaker and fluent in English, essential for the international scope of the role.

Remote from Italy or Spain.
