Our client is an international company specializing in the development and manufacturing of differentiated natural ingredients.

Following significant growth in recent years, the company has expanded its presence in key European and international markets. We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (M / F).

This role reports directly to the Deputy Sales Director and is identified as a sales hunter.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify, capture, and manage new accounts in the European market.
  • Provide tailored product recommendations to customers based on your product and services knowledge.
  • Develop and define, in coordination with the Global Sales Director, a sales strategy and annual sales plan for your region.
  • Manage distributors and motivate them to visit customers.
  • Execute the existing sales growth plan.
  • Contribute actively to market trend analysis, competition surveillance, and detection of sales and development opportunities to ensure an unbeatable market positioning.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing teams at exhibitions and events.
  • Monitor sales figures, forecasts, potential projects, and competitors.
  • Follow up on existing business and prospect new opportunities to meet sales objectives.
  • Focus customer presentations on their needs during visits.
  • Coordinate with the Global Account Manager during visits to global accounts in your area.
About you

You hold a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Nutrition, or Biology, with at least 5 years of professional experience in a B2B environment, working with manufacturers, distributors, and CMOs. Experience in the nutraceutical industry and botanical ingredients is a plus, as is a background in international commercial development.

You are a proactive hunter, eager to travel regularly, with a proven track record managing long sales cycles for scientifically validated products with therapeutic benefits.

Known for being autonomous, analytical, and flexible, you have a pragmatic mindset. Colleagues describe you as rigorous, resilient under pressure, and an excellent communicator.

You are a native Italian speaker and fluent in English, which is essential for the international scope of the role.

Location

Remote from Italy or Spain.
