Role Overview :

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the electric vehicle charging and energy sector, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager. This role is crucial in expanding the EV charging and energy platform across various markets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sustainable energy and technology, with a strong focus on building and maintaining relationships with installation partners, wholesalers, and automotive retailers.

Key Responsibilities : Develop and sustain strong relationships with installation and distribution partners, including installers, wholesalers, and car retailers. Drive sales initiatives and strategies to achieve business objectives and enhance market presence. Respond to inbound sales enquiries and proactively generate new leads to ensure a consistent pipeline. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring partners and customers feel valued and supported. Collaborate closely with the wider sales and customer support teams, ensuring all data is accurately captured in the CRM platform. Continuously analyse performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to boost sales effectiveness. Travel nationally to meet with clients and partners, with occasional travel to the London office.

Candidate Profile Essential Skills and Experience Previous experience in a business development, sales, or commercial role within EV Charging Experience in building partner networks with installers or distributors. Strong track record of managing a sales pipeline and achieving revenue targets. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts clearly. Native-level fluency in Italian and professional working proficiency in English. Comfortable working independently within a remote, distributed team. Familiarity with CRM systems and collaboration tools (experience with Slack, Jira, Odoo is advantageous).
