About The Opportunity

We are hiring a Senior Business and Regulatory Data Analyst to join the EU Markets team, working closely with Strategy & Operations and Reporting teams. You will support business growth and efficiency in European markets and develop data models for regulatory reporting, liaising with main suppliers to structure reporting flows. The role offers a chance to collaborate with an international team and contribute to the foundational data and business processes of the bank.

In This Role You Will

• Match regulatory requirements with data in our DWH
• Build and automate data models for regulatory reporting
• Perform data profiling and quality investigations
• Define and maintain processes delivering data to stakeholders
• Coordinate with external providers for data and tech issues
• Automate processes and learn about regulator report principles
• Ensure work is well documented, reproducible, and reliable
• Conduct analysis to generate insights for business growth and operational excellence

What You Need To Be Successful

Background

• Minimum 5 years experience working with data
• Fluent in English plus Italian or Spanish

Skills

• Advanced SQL skills : proficiency in querying, data manipulation, performance tuning
• Experience with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions
• Understanding of database normalization, indexing, query optimization
• Knowledge of DBT (beneficial), experience in building dbt models
• Optional : Python experience for data manipulation and automation
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Proactive and hands-on approach
