A global software development company with offices in Europe, LATAM, and Oceania, is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Senior Business Analyst for their Nicosia-based team. This is a critical role responsible for delivering business analysis services to a range of international software development projects. As a key bridge between the company clients and internal teams, you will drive the definition, documentation, and delivery of business requirements to ensure solutions are robust, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with client expectations. You will play a pivotal role throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from discovery and scoping to user acceptance testing (UAT) and final delivery, maintaining high standards of communication and stakeholder engagement throughout. If your profile meets the below description, GRS looks forward to hearing from you today.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the discovery and scoping of client requirements, translating business needs into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
  • Ensure technical specifications meet client expectations and business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with development, QA, documentation, and project management teams.
  • Support system testing, UAT planning and execution, and end-user training.
  • Facilitate scope management and impact assessment for changes throughout the SDLC.
  • Provide walkthroughs and clarifications of technical documentation to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with international clients and partners.
  • Champion the company’s brand, solutions, and values in every interaction.
  • Support pre-sales efforts and system demonstrations when required.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Maintain best-practice standards in business analysis documentation.
  • Contribute to the evolution of delivery methodology and process improvements.
  • Coach and mentor junior analysts and team members.
  • Contribute to product development by feeding insights from the client lens.
  • Maintain internal knowledgebases (e.g., cost databases, configuration repositories).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or technology environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and communicate solutions clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to lead discovery sessions, define requirements, and support throughout the SDLC.
  • Comfortable working with international clients across time zones (flexibility in working hours is essential).
COMPANY BENEFITS
  • Hybrid Work Model (3 office days and 2 from home).
  • A collaborative and inclusive international team culture.
  • Opportunities for professional development.

Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
