About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer develops Tether's open-source toolkit for self-custodial wallet applications on mobile and desktop. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Scalability : Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance as the platform grows.
• Security : Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data.

Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain, modular architecture, complex platform and API development, quick learning, and security best practices are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of high-availability concepts.
• Skills in Go, Rust, or C++.
• Experience with message queues (Redis), caches, and job queues.
• Mobile development experience in React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
