About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer develops Tether's open-source toolkit for self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. Responsibilities include technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to innovative projects using agile methods and new technologies.
• Ensure backend responsiveness and scalability to support growth.
• Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data.

Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi/blockchain, modular architecture, complex platform/API development, quick learning, and security best practices are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-availability systems, programming in Go, Rust, or C++, message queues, caches, job queues, mobile development in React Native, Flutter, or native platforms.
