About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves designing, implementing, and collaborating with teams to enhance the toolkit. Experience in wallet creation or DeFi is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to innovative projects using agile methods and new technologies.
• Ensure backend responsiveness and scalability to support growth.
• Maintain high security standards for user assets and data.

Experience with crypto wallets, modular architecture, complex platform development, and APIs is required.

Additional skills such as quick learning, security awareness, high-availability concepts, and knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ are advantageous. Experience with mobile development frameworks like React Native, Flutter, or native development is a plus.
