Senior Backend PHP Developer (m/f/i)

For our Italian holding, wefox services Italy, we are seeking a Senior Backend PHP Developer to contribute to innovative projects for the group.

Responsibilities:

• Understand product and technical priorities.
• Independently scope and implement production-ready solutions.
• Debug production issues as needed.
• Contribute to project estimation and planning.
• Make well-reasoned design decisions, considering potential issues, trade-offs, and risks.
• Conduct meaningful code reviews.

Qualifications:

• Experience with server applications serving API, batch, or queue.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Symfony framework (required), Laravel (plus), or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven platforms.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience with Git is a plus.
• Working knowledge of English is required.
