Eight Sleep is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to expand product features and scale. You will work on distributed back-end systems bridging embedded, machine learning, mobile, and BI components.

We are committed to high performance and data-driven recovery experiences for members. You will design, implement, and support services that power the member experience, collaborating with a team that values deep code understanding, fast delivery, and accountability.

Competenze

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of backend engineering/SRE experience.
• Language polyglot with expertise in at least two of Java/Scala/Kotlin, C#/.NET Core, Python, NodeJS+TypeScript.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of cloud services.

Mansioni

• Maintain and scale distributed back-end services and data pipelines.
• Develop tools to guarantee availability of ~30 microservices and automate operations.
• Contribute to development of back-end services and product features.
