Air Apps in Lisbon is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain server-side components powering our AI-driven PRP platform. You will collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, onsite setting.

The role emphasizes robust REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud deployments (GCP/AWS/Azure), and clean architecture. You will mentor peers and contribute to architecture decisions to ensure security, testing, and reliability across

Competenze

• 5+ years in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Solid knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture practices.
• Experience with API design (REST) and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, and Git workflows.
• Strong grasp of security principles and data protection.

• API & Service Architecture - Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and business logic using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Database Design & Integration - Model data and manage queries using Supabase and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud Infrastructure - Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, Pub/Sub.
