Job Responsibilities
Scope of the position:
- Support division senior management in achieving profit and financial balance targets.
- Implement management control.
- Manage reporting to the parent company.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Assess and manage risks through internal control systems.
- Manage division working capital.
- Assist senior management in defining corporate KPIs.
- Manage economic and financial KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Degree, preferably in economics or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in administration, finance, and control, with 3 years in the automotive sector.
- Knowledge of Italian accounting and tax regulations, and international and North American accounting principles.
- Excellent proficiency in Italian and English.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Support division and senior management in financial decision-making to meet economic and financial goals.
- Assist in managing cost center structures and related industrial and general costs.
- Oversee product costing, ensuring accuracy of cost components.
- Coordinate departmental staff activities to ensure timely and accurate processes, including:
- Approval of new business
- Monthly reports (division and corporate)
- Annual reports (division and corporate)
- Year-end closing reports
- Capital approval processes
- SOW approval processes
- Expense reviews (travel, company cars, rentals)
- Support evaluation of financial and operational impacts of activity changes.
- Assist with legal and fiscal relations with corporate.
- Maintain relations with functional entities like Closures Europe Finance.
- Verify legality and compliance of administrative acts and contracts.
- Assist with preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Keep updated on legal, fiscal, civil, and corporate regulations.
- Disseminate regulatory updates within the department and across company departments.
- Motivate and develop team members, setting objectives and promoting professional growth.
- Support business development, including margin analysis and product profitability.
- Support management in ERP system management.
