Job summary

Eaton's Mobility Group in Italy is seeking a Product Engineer to join the Valves Product Engineering team. You will design, analyze, validate, and industrialize valvetrain components from prototype through serial production for leading automotive customers.

You will collaborate with eight manufacturing sites and four technical centers worldwide, travel up to 30%, and report to the Engineering Manager. This role focuses on delivering high-performance valve solutions and supporting eMobility

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Ideally 3–5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Join a multicultural, cross-functional engineering team developing valvetrain technologies.
• Design, analyze, validate, and industrialize valvetrain components from prototype through serial production.
• Ensure component functionality, durability, manufacturability, and compliance with customer requirements.
• Translate customer specifications into engineering deliverables, validation plans, and development activities.
• Act as a technical interface with suppliers and OEM engineering teams across Italy and Western Europe.
• Support prototype builds, prepare technical documentation and engineering reports, and present results to customers and Eaton leadership.
• Contribute to system design, validation, and the development of products across Eaton's portfolio, including eMobility solutions.
• Track project progress and report activities to the Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer.
• Travel up to 30%.

Eaton's Mobility Group is currently seeking a Product Engineer, to join our global Valves Product Engineering team. In this role, you will work on technically complex projects with demanding performance requirements and ambitious timelines, contributing to the development of innovative valve and valve actuation solutions for leading automotive manufacturers worldwide.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package based on applicable skills, knowledge and experience, and aligned with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is EUR 43.600 - EUR 63.910 gross per year.
