South Pole is seeking an AI Developer to design, build, and ship production-grade AI features: LLM-powered workflows, retrieval pipelines, and agentic tooling that turn large, environmental and carbon-market data into reliable answers.

This is a hands-on medior-to-senior role. You will turn vague requirements into well-tested features, ensure trustworthy AI, and optimize for cost and performance in production.

Competenze

• Strong experience building production-grade AI features.
• Proficient in Python and backend cloud services.
• Experience designing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical AI solutions.

Mansioni

• Design and ship LLM-powered features end to end (RAG, structured extraction, summarisation).
• Build robust data and inference pipelines to connect AI layer with back-end systems.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails for safe, reliable AI.
