Job summary

AI Lynx S.r.l., based in Naples, seeks a data science/ML specialist to design and run reproducible experiments on financial time series, validate results out of sample, and deploy models into production inside VEGA. You will collaborate with researchers and contribute to a growing pipeline, with frontier AI tools and a research-driven culture.

Remote work from Italy is available, with occasional meetings in Naples or on-site at Centro Direzionale.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or physics or equivalent.
• Strong grounding in ML/DL, probability, statistics and linear algebra.
• At least one substantial ML project (academic projects included).
• Experience with time series modeling and evaluation.
• Ability to run reproducible experiments and maintain tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design and run reproducible experiments on financial time series: features, models, validation, and historical simulations.
• Test results out of sample and ensure replication.
• Take models into production inside VEGA and related products.
• Collaborate with university researchers we work with.
• Use frontier AI tools for research and refine their use.
