As a Senior Advanced Machining Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Leading new technology development with the goal of transferring technology into the supply chain.
2. Setting cost-effective plans for NTD programs.
3. Analyzing and developing critical production processes and fine-tuning them within the manufacturing department.
4. Supporting supply chain activities related to special processes, NCR resolution, and technical equipment evaluation.
5. Collaborating closely with design teams for prototyping and developing new products.
6. Identifying technological and HSE risks, developing mitigation plans, and executing preventive and corrective actions.
7. Managing the qualification of special processes as a technical expert (e.g., surface treatments, babbitting).
8. Innovating to enhance manufacturing practices.
9. Maintaining a high focus on HSE compliance.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• An industrial or mechanical engineering degree (Master's or Bachelor's) from an accredited university.
• Between 5 to 10 years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in mechanical operations.
• Experience with manufacturing special processes.
• A good background in material science, especially metallurgy.
• Team-oriented attitude with a focus on achieving team goals.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written form.
• Problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
• Prior experience as a manufacturing engineer is a plus.
• EU work permit.
