• Prepare journal entries, cost analysis, and system data entry.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, SOX requirements, and internal procedures.

Location: Grugliasco, Italy (Lear Corporation Headquarters)

Join Lear Corporation, a global leader in automotive technology, at our Italian headquarters in Grugliasco. We are looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to support finance operations for our plant and tech center in Gustavsburg, near Frankfurt, Germany — both key Lear Corporation sites.

Your Mission

As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will support the Assistant Controller and Plant Controller, contributing to daily operations and playing a key role in financial closings, cost analysis, and compliance activities.

Responsibilities
• Support accurate and timely month-, quarter-, and year-end closings (P&L and balance sheet)
• Prepare journal entries, cost analysis, and system data entry
• Perform intercompany and supplier reconciliations
• Supervise payables and receivables; maintain partial books
• Provide weekly reports on overheads, product margins, engineering hours, and POs
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, SOX requirements, and internal procedures

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar finance/accounting role
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP systems (MFGPro/AS-400, Hyperion)
• Fluent in English
