One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Accountant in Italy .

This role is ideal for an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional ready to oversee and manage core accounting operations. As a Senior Accountant, you will ensure compliance with Italian GAAP and IFRS standards, manage financial reporting, and support interdepartmental collaboration. You'll play a vital role in maintaining financial accuracy, handling external audits, and contributing to cash flow analysis. Accountabilities :

• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and Italian GAAP
• Post journal entries, manage general ledger activities, and process vendor invoices including intercompany transactions
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, supporting the financial reporting cycle
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to manage statutory filings and audits
• Collaborate with the FP&A and HR teams to support financial analysis, payroll processes, and cash flow monitoring
• Work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Operations, and Customer Experience to support accounting needs

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounting or financial control roles
• In-depth knowledge of Italian accounting principles and IFRS reporting standards
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage responsibilities independently in a remote setup
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting software; NetSuite experience is a plus
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in SaaS, digital B2B, or tech environments is a strong advantage
