Job Responsibilities

1. Lead and contribute to the finance team.
2. Engage with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
3. Manage banking relationships.
4. Develop interfaces between big data/platforms and accounting systems to record trades, deposits, withdrawals, and profit/loss movements.
5. Draft SOPs and policies to ensure compliance with MiCAR requirements.
6. Serve as the main contact for finance queries and internal solution drafting.
7. Track all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, and statements; streamline processes.
8. Reconcile transactions by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
9. Support daily payment operations, including bank transactions, cheque processing, and cash management.
10. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding finance matters.
11. Prepare account analyses and monthly financial reports.
12. Undertake additional duties as required.

Job Requirements

1. Proven 5+ years of experience in full-suite company finance, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable.
2. Understanding of Austria's corporate requirements: VAT, corporate tax, and audit processes.
3. Good knowledge of international telegraphic transfer procedures.
4. Ability to manage accounting figures and financial records accurately.
5. Data entry skills and numerical proficiency.
6. Experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
7. High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
8. Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle Netsuite.
9. Attention to detail and high accuracy.
10. Comprehensive knowledge of MiCAR financial requirements.
11. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, with professional qualifications.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges or brokerage firms.
2. Big 4 audit firm experience.
3. Regulatory engagement experience.
4. Experience with multiple currencies.
