A leading fashion retailer in Milan is looking for an experienced financial accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in a similar role, is fluent in Italian and English, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles. This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. The role involves financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting external audits.

Competenze

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a retail or fast-paced international environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.

Mansioni

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for monthly and year-end closing.
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and reporting.
• Coordinate audit documentation and support external audits.
• Act as key owner of intercompany reconciliation.

Conoscenze

Fluent in both Italian and English

Strong knowledge of accounting principles

Excellent organizational skills

YOUR TASKS

·Prepare, review, and post journal entries for monthly and year-end closing.

·Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.

·Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and reporting.

·Review and post fixed assets transactions.

·Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

·Coordinate audit documentation and support external audits.

·Act as key owner of intercompany reconciliation.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

·Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

·Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a retail or fast-paced international environment.

·Fluent in both Italian and English.

·Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

·Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·Experience with SAP FI/CO and BW is a plus.
