Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Account Manager at Honeywell in Italy, you will be a key member of the Airports Vertical Sales Team in Europe, responsible for utilizing your proven sales experience to provide customers with market-leading Airfield and Smart Building solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling HBT projects & services to new and existing airports in the Europe region and some expanded geographies. This individual will ensure the achievement of an annual sales plan.

In this role, you will specialize in key built environment systems, including but not limited to; BMS, Fire, Security, Access, Airfield Ground Lighting, Visual Docking Guidance System, Turnaround Management, with a focus on leading Integrated, Sustainability, SaaS, and IoT propositions.

Key Requirements
  • Develop new opportunities within existing customers and provide consultative support by building value propositions into accounts.
  • Manage and build customer contacts, acting as the customer’s ambassador, trusted advisor, and advocate. Accurately forecast orders and growth opportunities.
  • Understand the customer’s business, drivers, and organization, and the value HBS brings to drive real business outcomes.
  • Achieve orders, revenue, margin plans, and goals, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Disseminate key messages and initiatives related to the value HBS offers at all levels of the customer’s organization.
  • Establish a business partnership with customers, creating a defensible barrier to competitors, and act as the primary interface for all products, solutions, and services.
  • Champion customer needs within Honeywell.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years in solution sales within Airports Terminal and/or Airside fields, with a proven success record.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, results-oriented, a problem solver, with a positive outlook and a focus on profit.
  • Ability to balance short-term achievements with long-term development.
  • A proactive planner who critically assesses their performance.
  • Strong communication skills and high proficiency in English.
