We are currently expanding our ESG Business Development team to support our Convene ESG Software, which aims to assist our clients in their sustainability reporting journey—from standard compliance to advanced ESG governance. The team will continue to grow as we expand our market and client base. We seek candidates with relevant sustainability and ESG reporting or ratings/analysis backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in ESG trends and topics, keen attention to data and disclosure quality, and excellent management skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close deals.
  2. Manage pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, advising on bid preparations, supporting product pricing, and achieving business plan targets.
  3. Assist the Sales team with ESG domain knowledge.
  4. Provide advisory services to clients/prospects regarding ESG reporting compliance.
  5. Onboard clients to our ESG reporting platform.
  6. Study various ESG reporting frameworks and contribute to the evolution of the ESG reporting platform.
  7. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline, pursue leads, and manage prospects within our CRM.
  8. Attend trade shows as required.
  9. Deliver presentations and proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
  10. Stay informed about legislation and best practices.
  11. Provide sales updates to senior management.
Requirements:

Experience:

  • 5–7 years of experience in SaaS sales.
  • Strong background or knowledge of sustainability topics in key sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders at all organizational levels.
