Role Overview: The SEN Support Collaborator will work closely with students with identified special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them succeed academically and socially.

This role involves collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt teaching methods, and meet each student’s needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students based on their IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies.
• Conduct assessments and observations to monitor progress and adjust support plans.
• Facilitate communication among teachers, parents, and external specialists.
• Provide training to staff on inclusive education and SEN management.
• Stay updated with best practices in special education and IB framework.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience working with students with SEN in educational settings, preferably IB or international schools.
• Understanding of SEN challenges like dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and ability to tailor approaches.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
