Foundational and applied research activities in the area of semantic and/or statistical technologies
for data management and integration of heterogeneous and large data sources. Particular attention must be paid to semantic and expressivity aspects of the adopted formalisms, and to aspects related to computational efficiency. The research activity will be accompanied by knowledge and technology transfer activities to local companies and organizations, and by technical management and monitoring of IT projects.
