Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) in Sicily, Italy seeks a Security Specialist to apply security concepts, review, and resolve security problems while ensuring AT/FP functions and utilizing security systems such as access control and biometrics to implement protective measures.

Experience with interpreting personnel security policies and identifying risks and non-compliance is required for this civilian role at NAVSUP in SIGONELLA, Sicily.

Summary

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems Command - NAVSUP ofNAVSUP FLC SIG GF, SIGONELLA SICILY, ITALY.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

• 1) Applying security concepts, principles, and practices to review, analyze, and resolve security problems;
• 2) Ensuring Antiterrorism/Force Protection functions are performed;
• 3) Using security equipment, systems, and devices to include personnel access control systems, automated information systems, biometrics scanning devices, and electronic badging systems to plan and implement protective methods and security procedures;
• 4) Interpreting Personnel Security policies to make recommendations regarding processes and procedures;
• 5) Identifying risk/threats and violations/non-compliance with security requirement and implementing corrective measures.
