A leading global consulting firm is seeking an experienced legal expert in security to assess new security offerings and provide legal support for client opportunities. The ideal candidate has a JD, at least 6 years of relevant experience, and a strong ability to analyze risks and build relationships within a diverse team. This role is based in Milan, Italy and focuses on delivering effective legal advice in a dynamic business environment.

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with new product/service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing new Security offerings, developing risk mitigation strategies and enabling the Security Business ‘go-to-market’ strategy.
  • Supporting client opportunities as a Security SME, by providing business focused, risk based, advice to the Security Business, Sales Teams and Accenture’s client-facing Legal team.
  • Team with Accenture Regulatory and Compliance Counsel to analyze and provide advice regarding applicable regulations and anticipate the impact of regulatory changes on the Security Business.
  • Develop guidance and templates for Security offerings to enable Accenture’s client-facing Legal team to efficiently handle day-to-day contracting.
  • Develop and deliver clear communications, guidance, and trainings regarding legal considerations for the Security Business, Sales Teams and Accenture’s client-facing Legal team.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships within the Security Business and Legal organizations.
  • Help evaluate prospective acquisition targets and shape post-merger integration strategy.
Knowledge Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 6 yrs. relevant experience, with a preference for some experience advising on new product or service offerings.
  • Ability to analyze complex facts, using good judgement to spot risks and making risks mitigation recommendations.
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements (e.g. security products or services, outsourcing, technology), including an understanding of intellectual property, data privacy, commercial and transactional issues.
  • Developing trusted relationships with business leaders.
