  • Security Governance Specialist (M / F / d)

Reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and part of the Global Cyber Security Department (CS), in a leadership role:

You will be responsible, in collaboration with the CISO, for managing Cyber Security services: Strategy & Organization, Service Governance, Program Governance, and Technology Governance.

You will enable the most effective and efficient execution of services within the CS Portfolio, stimulate integration with other IT and non-IT processes and departments, and provide regular reporting at various hierarchy levels about Schindler's Cyber Security posture.

You will proactively engage with other functions within and outside the IT organization, including team leaders, system owners, project and service managers, product owners, controlling, risk management, human resources, and compliance. Establishing trustful relationships, leading by example, and delivering key initiatives personally will be essential. You will act as the first ambassador of the Cybersecurity Strategy and a passionate campaigner for cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Support the CISO and the Head of Cyber Security in defining and aligning the security strategy with business objectives, monitoring execution through appropriate organization and service catalogues. Oversee communication plans, budget, cost management (collaborating with Finance), and enhance staff competencies (collaborating with HR).
  • Service Governance: Ensure clear definition and execution of the CS Service Catalogue, including process descriptions, workflows, KPIs, and supporting documents and tools.
  • Monitor service effectiveness and efficiency monthly through KPIs and data flow maturity, ensuring clear process interfaces within the CS Department and with other functions. Address opportunities for improvement and lessons learned. Regular reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, CS Managers, and other IT departments is essential.
  • Program Governance: Govern the Security Capabilities building process to achieve targeted maturity increases in the company's security posture, aligned with planned timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain the current Enterprise Security Architecture in compliance with expected service levels. Define and approve a clear Target Architecture in alignment with main stakeholders (Infrastructure, Application Departments, etc.).
Skills & Requirements
  • B.S. in Cyber Security, Computer Science
  • MBA or Master in Cyber Security is a plus
  • Strong experience in IT Governance, service, budget, and supplier management
  • Experience with Visual Analytics platforms (preferably PowerBI)
  • At least 5 years in Project Management
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, Cobit, ITIL, ISO 9001 (or other certifications)
  • Energetic, organized self-starter capable of working independently and in teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven reporting and presentation skills, especially for C-level audiences
  • Ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to handle organizational challenges and manage multiple priorities
