Responsibilities

• Follow and implement security changes on the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues, focusing on security-related problems.
• Maintain the infrastructure to ensure smooth network operation.
• Deploy new network and security devices, including entire new locations.
• Assist in designing or engineering new security solutions or significant changes to existing ones.
• Collaborate with other teams during troubleshooting or implementation tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of common routing and switching concepts and protocols (STP, PVST, BGP).
• Proven experience with Fortinet firewall devices (e.g., 100F, 200G, F 80F, 501E, 1800F, 1100E).
• Good understanding of central management solutions for security devices (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiClient).
• Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching, including control and monitoring of network infrastructure.
• Expertise in securing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), especially multi-cloud networks and infrastructure.
• Experience working in a datacenter environment (installation or cabling of network devices) is preferred.
• Knowledge of Juniper JunOS devices is a plus.

Certifications

• Fortigate Administrator (ex NSE4), FCP-NS, FCP-SO (ex NSE5), or equivalent certifications are desirable.
