About the Role :

Reporting to the Country Security Manager and the local HR Manager, the Security Coordinator will develop and implement local security strategies concerning People, Assets, and Goods in coordination with Group Security. The role involves enforcing and improving the Ferrero Security Management System at the local level, ensuring effective protection of personnel, physical assets, goods, key processes, and know-how through risk mitigation and cost-effective measures. The Security Coordinator will oversee various security aspects, including Local Security Intelligence, Physical Security, Logistical Security, Executive Protection, Travel Security, Incident Management, Fraud Investigation, Due Diligence, Security Training, and Threat and Risk Assessments across production facilities, offices, warehouses, and all local business operations in collaboration with Group Security. The role also involves promoting improvement actions and sharing best practices within the security community in the area.

  • Plan, develop, and implement local security plans and programs such as Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management, and Investigations following Group security guidelines.
  • Coordinate effectively with Group Security, local management, and relevant functions to address security issues promptly.
  • Lead internal investigations of alleged violations of law, breaches of ethics, theft, fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, embezzlement, or unauthorized disclosure/theft of proprietary information.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments and deploy security measures to mitigate risks.
  • Perform annual risk analyses considering crime levels, terrorism, workplace violence, medical issues, and threats from disasters.
  • Provide leadership, advice, and counsel to local management on security policies and resource expenditures to protect assets.
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and security organizations at various levels.
  • Manage and supervise security services at production sites, drafting and implementing security procedures aligned with Ferrero policies.

REQUIRED :

  • High school diploma required; degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience in workplace security.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
