About the Role :

Reporting to the Country Security Manager and the local HR Manager, the Security Coordinator will develop and implement local security strategies concerning People and Assets & Goods in coordination with Group Security. The role involves enforcing and improving the Ferrero Security Management System at the local level, ensuring the protection of Ferrero People, Physical Assets, Goods, Key Processes, and know-how through a risk mitigation and cost-conscious approach. Responsibilities include overseeing Local Security Intelligence, Physical Security, Logistical Security, Executive Protection, Travel Security, Incident Management, Fraud Investigation, Due Diligence, Security Training, and Threat and Risk Assessments across production facilities, offices, warehouses, and all local business operations in coordination with Group Security. The Security Coordinator will promote improvements and share best practices within the Security community.

  • Plan, develop, and implement local security plans and programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management, and Investigations according to Group security guidelines.
  • Interface effectively with Group Security, local Management, and other functions to ensure security issues are addressed promptly.
  • Lead internal investigations of law violations, breaches of ethics, theft, fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, embezzlement, or unauthorized disclosures of Ferrero proprietary information.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments and deploy measures to mitigate risks.
  • Perform annual risk analyses considering crime levels, terrorism, workplace violence, natural disasters, and other threats.
  • Provide leadership, advice, and counsel to local management on security policies and resource expenditures to protect Ferrero assets.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and security organizations at various levels.
  • Manage and supervise security services at production sites, draft, and implement security procedures aligned with Ferrero policies.
