Reliable supplies of energy have never been more critical.That's why we make sure our customers have power, heating, and air conditioning when, where and for however long they need it.**We are recruiting** for a field-based **sales professional** specializing in complex, engineered solutions for sustained power, heating & cooling needs across the **data centres sector to cover the south region in Italy (Roma-Bari)****Detailed description:** Drive significant revenue growth through consultative selling of complex technical solutions to data centre customers. Responsible for deep technical discovery, collaborative solution development, and building multi-level stakeholder relationships over extended sales cycles (6-36 months). Manage intricate proposals and contracts while maintaining accurate long-range pipeline forecasts in this highly technical and mission-critical industry.**Responsibilities*** **Anticipate** data centre infrastructure **needs** years ahead and position solutions within strategic expansion plans* **Create tailored solutions** balancing reliability, efficiency, and sustainability requirements for critical operations* **Engage** as trusted advisor rather than vendor, establishing genuine thought leadership with technical teams* **Manage complex bids** and contract negotiations through to successful closure for high-value projects* **Develop compelling business** cases demonstrating operational and financial benefits through sophisticated ROI analysis* **Coordinate solutions** across international locations with diverse regulatory and operational requirements**Location:** Roma with requirement to intensive travel.**What we're looking for**:* **Proven track record in exceeding targets** and managing complex B2B technical solution sales* **More than 3 years experience** in managing extended sales cycles (6+ months) with multiple stakeholders across decision levels* Success building C-suite and technical decision-maker relationships in technology environments* **Background in data centres, critical infrastructure i.e UPS and knowledge of data centre power, cooling, and backup systems** with tier classifications preferable* Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with clients' long-term strategic roadmaps**Benefits:*** A competitive fixed salary* Commission scheme uncapped* Position eligible for a company car* Insurance: life, lost injury and Health insurance* Meal vouchers: €8 per day* Employee Assistance ProgrammeWe welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people's unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
