The Gritti Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Venice, part of Marriott International, is recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor.

This is a full-time role (40 hours/week, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, with 2 days off).

What you’ll do
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and amenities to ensure quality standards
  • Manage room reports, verify status, prioritize cleaning, and update room information
  • Assist in daily housekeeping operations and coordinate with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
  • Resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk
  • Distribute work assignments and communicate shifts changes
  • Complete necessary documentation
  • Support training, scheduling, evaluation, and motivation of staff
  • Follow safety and security policies, report hazards, and complete safety training
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Support team goals and uphold quality standards
  • Use computers and POS systems for work-related tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager
