We are currently looking for a Scientific Affairs Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy.

In this role, you will bring your strong knowledge and expertise, acting as a scientific advisor to the sales team and our Key Opinion Leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Promote scientific activities in the field (poster, workshop, etc.) to differentiate Beckman Diagnostics portfolio in the market;
• Train the Sales force and Field Specialists, both in field and in-house;
• Handle Technical Speech to customers (2nd level);
• Support NPI, other method correlation, clinicians, etc.;

Organize customer Workshops, teaming up with the Marketing & Communication department for speaker monitoring and support.

Support NPI / Launch activities.

Maintain the Scientific literature general database as well as the Tender literature database.

**Key Requirements**

• Scientific educational background (Biology, Biomedical Engineering, CTF, Medicine...). A PhD is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Scientific Affairs Specialist or similar (Field Application Specialist, Medical Science Liaison, Clinical Research Associate...), preferably in the IVD Industry. Clinical trials management expertise would be a big plus.
• Proficient English is mandatory
• Willing to travel between 50-75% at a country level (and abroad, when needed). A valid driving license is required.
• Knowledge of the market and ability to interact effectively with KOLs to maintain and improve our network.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence and build consensus.
• Ability to work autonomously, with minimal guidance, using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services and bring new perspectives using existing solutions.
