IFOM seeks a Science Communication Specialist to translate cutting-edge cancer research into accessible content for scientists, donors, journalists, and the public. The role reports to the Head of Corporate Communication and Events and collaborates with the Communications team to ensure accurate messaging across channels.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in science communication or journalism, a portfolio of media relationships, and experience with crisis comms in scientific settings.

The candidate will report directly to the Head of Corporate Communication and Events and will work closely with the Communication team. With solid communication experience and proven experience in biomedical or research settings, candidate will be responsible for translating the work carried out in our labs and across the Institute into content for scientists, institutions, donors, journalists, and the wider public
Mandatory requirement: university degree in a scientific field (biology, biotech, medicine, or a closely related field);
