Hitachi Rail is seeking a proactive Control System Engineer to design, develop and commission SCADA systems for complex projects based in Italy. You will coordinate with multiple internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, safety, and quality.

The role requires a Master degree in Automation/Engineering, fluent English, and willingness to travel. It is a full-time on-site position located in Piossasco (TO), Italy, with competitive annual gross salary expected between 33,000€

Competenze

• Master degree as specified in Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer/Information Science.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Italian language proficiency.
• Experience with SCADA design and commissioning processes.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and control systems concepts.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and commission SCADA systems for assigned projects.
• Budget the effort (man-hours) for activities.
• Analyze specifications and contracts to extract requirements for SCADA developers.
• Lead SCADA design with documentation per international standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet project requirements and standards.
• Ensure test, commissioning activities and related documents are prepared to the required quality.
