Hitachi Rail is seeking a skilled SCADA engineer to design, develop and commission SCADA systems for rail projects across multiple sites. You will oversee documentation, testing, and safety considerations throughout the project life cycle, and travel to fulfil technical tasks with international teams.

The role requires fluent English, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in dynamic, multi-site environments while ensuring health & safety regulations are applied.

Competenze

• Fluent English in speaking and writing is required.
• Basic RAMS concepts knowledge is expected.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Office and AutoCAD is required.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and commission SCADA systems for rail projects.
• Budget man-hours for project activities.
• Analyze specifications to extract SCADA requirements.
• Lead system design with documentation aligned to international standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill technical tasks.
• Monitor compliance with standards across the project life-cycle.
• Define interface data and establish relationships for external parties.
• Present design content and progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure test commissioning documents meet quality standards.
• Participate in factory, site, and interface tests for SCADA systems.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for technical issues.
