Job summary

Strativ Group is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and validate real-time software for spacecraft onboard computers. You will work across the full software lifecycle, interface with flight hardware, and contribute to AIV activities.

Requirements include 2+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, RTOS or embedded Linux experience, and familiarity with SPI/I2C/CAN/UART. Telepresence and collaboration with diverse teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with RTOS (RTEMS/FreeRTOS) or embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART).
• Experience with build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software for spacecraft onboard systems.
• Contribute across the full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, and verification.
• Interface with flight hardware, supporting debugging and system integration.
• Develop and maintain reusable software components and shared libraries.
• Support AIV activities, including HIL/SIL testing.
• Produce and review technical documentation to industry standards.
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and external partners to define software specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.
