SAP Technical Architect JD:

Required to travel to Italy once every 2 weeks for 2-3 days initially for 3 months, then once a month. Travel accommodation will be provided by the company.

SAP Technical Architect Responsibilities:

• Define, design, and deliver SAP architectural designs.
• Develop documentation for each project phase, aligned with SAP best practices.
• Develop overall solutions including high-level design, SOWs, service design, and BOMs.
• Contribute to service delivery by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from complex client environments to create technical solutions.
• Coordinate assessment sub-streams: business process, technical architecture, change management, governance, vendor assessment, and negotiations.
• Manage project team activities, deliverables, and assessment plans.
• Coordinate workshops and vendor interactions.
• Support presentation preparations and manage issue escalation.

Skills / Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in architecting complex ERP projects in large consumer companies.
• Thorough understanding of SAP ACTIVATE methodology and ERP project phases.
• Architectural knowledge of SAP and ecosystem, preferably TOGAF certified.
• Experience with SAP cloud deployments and migrations.
• Hands-on SAP experience with on-premise and cloud solutions architecture.
• Ability to conduct meetings with various stakeholder levels.
• Knowledge of SAP modules, integration options, BTP, CPI.
• Strong technical skills in SAP ABAP, Fiori, and business processes.
• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Available to travel at least once a month to Parma, Italy.
• No restrictions to work in Europe.
• Immediate availability.
