The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, with the aim of developing innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience, and health data science. HT scientists work together to enable interdisciplinary research and create an open, collaborative environment to promote life science research nationally and internationally. HT also operates National Facilities to make its technologies, methods, and tools available to the scientific community.

The Human Technopole Foundation is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Expert to work within the ICT & Digitisation area, reporting to the Head of ICT and Digitisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the ERP system to align with business processes. Responsibilities include designing custom applications, troubleshooting, supporting users, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address development needs, resolve operational challenges, and deliver ERP training in coordination with HR.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain custom applications to improve workflows;
• Design, test, and debug software solutions;
• Gather and analyze development requirements from departments to deliver tailored ERP enhancements;
• Maintain and update existing applications;
• Ensure smooth operation of SAP S/4HANA ERP system;
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues;
• Assist with system upgrades and new feature implementations;
• Support ERP users and provide technical assistance;
• Conduct user training sessions on ERP functionalities;
• Identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities;
• Stay informed on SAP S/4HANA updates and recommend enhancements;
• Ensure data integrity and system security standards are met.

Requirements

Mandatory requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• Minimum 3 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SCM, and SRM, including configuration and support;
• SAP S/4HANA Public/Private Cloud Implementation certification (Financial Accounting, Sourcing and Procurement, System Administration, etc);
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including development, configuration, and customization;
• Proficiency in SAP relevant programming languages and tools (e.g., SAP Cloud Application Studio);
• Strong understanding of ERP modules like finance, procurement, and supply chain;
• Experience in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting ERP applications;
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
• Full professional proficiency in Italian, with strong communication skills.

Preferred requirements :

• University degree in Computer Science or related field;
• Experience in similar roles within research institutes.

Organizational and social skills :

• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach;
• Team player capable of cross-department collaboration;
• Adaptability to evolving needs and updates.

Salary range : €50,000 - €54,000 depending on seniority.
