Avvale in Milan, Italy, seeks an experienced SAP PP Senior Consultant to join our teams in Milan, Turin, Padua, Rome, or Pescara. You will lead requirements gathering, design, configure and customize the SAP PP module, and work with project managers and architects to deliver SAP solutions.

Excellent client-facing communication and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA implementations are essential; fluency in English; remote in Italy up to five days a week, with SEE/Switzerland options up to five months

• Experience as SAP PP Senior Consultant with PP knowledge in production planning.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions.

• Compensation & Benefits: In line with our commitment to transparency and people development, the gross annual salary (RAL) for this position ranges between €38.500,00 and € 51.500,00 commensurate with experience and skills. The position is covered by the CCNL Commercio e Terziario (National Collective Labor Agreement for Commerce and Service Sector), alongside a benefits package that includes meal vouchers, wellbeing initiatives (including Wellhub), and growth opportunities.

Role and responsibilities

We are looking for experienced SAP PP Senior Consultant to join our teams in Milan, Turin, Padua, Rome, or Pescara.

You will be responsible for the following activities:

• Act as the primary functional point of contact for the client on SAP PP, building trusted relationships with key users, process owners, and business stakeholders.
• Lead requirements gathering and functional workshops, translating business needs into effective and scalable SAP solutions.
• Design, configure, and customize the SAP PP module, ensuring seamless integration with other business processes and SAP modules.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, functional consultants, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support project planning by identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Guide the client through all project phases, including analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, user training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, functional specifications, test cases, and end-user training materials.
• Contribute to the design of end-to-end solutions by assessing impacts across integrated business processes and other SAP functional areas.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants, supporting their professional development and project involvement.
• Promote SAP best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, processes, and quality standards
• Strong knowledge of Production Planning processes and core manufacturing scenarios
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects
• Requirements gathering, functional analysis, and workshop facilitation with business users
• SAP PP configuration and customizing skills
• Experience in testing activities, user training, and go-live support
• Ability to work autonomously in complex, multi-stream projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, front-end client-facing attitude
• Experience collaborating with Project Managers, development teams, and consultants from other functional areas
• Problem-solving mindset, results orientation, strong consulting approach
• Good written and spoken English
• Nice to have: SAP PP/DS knowledge, SAP Variant Configurator/AVC experience, functional knowledge of QM/PM modules and integration, MES systems knowledge (SAP-MES interfaces for production orders, confirmations, material consumption, shop floor data collection)
