SteelcoBelimed is seeking a motivated SAP PP & DMC Consultant to join our IT & Business Applications team. You will design, implement, and support SAP PP and SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud solutions within SAP S/4HANA and integrated environments.

You will work with production, quality, engineering, IT, external partners, and international teams to translate business requirements into robust SAP PP and DMC solutions, including ABAP enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.

We are seeking a motivated SAP PP & DMC Consultant (m/f/d) to join our Business Applications team.

Please note: depending on the location of the candidate, we are open to filling this position on our locations in Italy (Riese Pio X or Padua) or Slovenia (Grosuplje).

In this role, you will design, implement, optimize, and support SAP Production Planning and SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud solutions within SAP S/4HANA and integrated manufacturing environments. You will work closely with production, quality, engineering, IT, external partners, and international project teams to translate business requirements into robust SAP PP and DMC solutions, including necessary ABAP enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP PP processes in SAP S/4HANA, including material requirements planning, production orders, routings, work centers, bills of material, capacity planning, shop floor execution, and production confirmations.
• Design, implement, and optimize SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC) solutions for manufacturing execution, production integration, data collection, and shop floor connectivity.
• Translate production, quality, and manufacturing business requirements into functional specifications, process designs, SAP PP configuration concepts, and DMC solution designs.
• Apply ABAP knowledge to analyze and support custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, user exits, BADIs, and integration scenarios.
• Collaborate with production stakeholders, quality teams, engineering, IT teams, external vendors, and system integrators to deliver end-to-end SAP PP and DMC solutions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA and DMC implementation, migration, rollout, integration, and optimization activities with a focus on manufacturing and production planning.
• Coordinate and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for SAP PP processes, DMC scenarios, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Prepare documentation, training materials, process descriptions, configuration guides, technical handover documents, and key-user enablement materials.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, defects, and process issues in cooperation with business users, shop floor teams, developers, and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with company governance, SAP standards, internal controls, security policies, and regulatory requirements in regulated production environments.

Your Profile

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of professional experience as an SAP PP Consultant, SAP Manufacturing Consultant, SAP DMC Consultant, or in a comparable SAP functional consulting role.
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP PP configuration and end-to-end manufacturing and production planning processes, ideally in SAP S/4HANA environments. Practical experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, manufacturing execution, shop floor integration, and production data flows is required.
• Good ABAP knowledge, including the ability to read, analyze, debug, and specify enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, user exits, BAdIs, and custom developments.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, support, or process optimization projects, with a good understanding of integration with SAP MM, QM, SD, EWM, FI/CO, and related manufacturing applications.
• Experience in regulated or validated manufacturing environments, such as aerospace, medical technology, medical products, or life sciences, is preferred. SAP S/4HANA manufacturing and SAP DMC project experience, relevant certifications, and experience in international, cross-functional environments are advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP PP processes, customizing, master data, production planning, shop floor execution, production orders, MRP, routings, bills of material, work centers, and confirmations.
• Good understanding of SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud capabilities, manufacturing execution scenarios, shop floor data collection, operator dashboards, machine integration, and integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing requirements and translate them into practical SAP PP and DMC solutions.
• ABAP literacy and debugging capability to work effectively with developers and evaluate technical solution options.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including structured incident and defect resolution in production-critical environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with production users, quality teams, engineering, developers, and technical teams.
• Collaborative, proactive, service-oriented, hands‑on, and results-focused mindset.
• Fluent English is required. Italian is optional, while German language skills are a plus.
