Whitehall Resources is seeking a SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst in Milan, Italy, for an initial 6-12 month contract to support SAP systems and help optimise Finance and Controlling processes for clients.

The role requires a minimum of three years in SAP FI/CO, with strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR and Asset Accounting, plus CO modules. You will configure and customise SAP solutions and collaborate with ABAP developers on developments and migrations.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years' experience in SAP FI/CO as Analyst or Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO: Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders.
• Good understanding of Finance and Controlling processes.
• Experience with SAP configuration (customising).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the ongoing evolution of SAP systems while helping to optimise Finance and Controlling processes for our clients.
• Analyse clients' Finance and Controlling business processes
• Gather and translate business requirements into SAP solutions
• Configure and maintain the SAP FI and CO modules
• Carry out SAP customising and system configuration
• Collaborate with the ABAP technical team on developments where required
• Support SAP implementation and migration projects (e.g. SAP S/4HANA)
• Perform functional testing and support release activities
• Provide end-user support and user training

Key Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar SAP FI/CO Functional Analyst or Consultant role
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting
• Strong knowledge of SAP CO: Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders
• Good understanding of Finance and Management Accounting processes
• Experience with SAP configuration (customising)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above
