Join Our Team as a Sales Specialist - Distributor

The role is part of

  • Castrol organization
  • Customers & Products entity, responsible for implementing sales plans and developing lubricant product sales

The purpose of this position is to achieve sales targets by supporting current partners and acquiring new customers within the existing sales portfolio.

In this role, you will

  • Implement regional sales plans, including preparing and executing automotive strategies at distributor headquarters and regional levels
  • Develop and support distributor sales teams to acquire new customers for the Castrol brand
  • Coordinate with marketing departments to plan and execute joint marketing campaigns, manage marketing budgets, and ensure campaign execution
  • Implement centrally coordinated campaigns such as promotions and sales programs
  • Organize incentive programs and support distributors in acquiring new customers
  • Develop the skills of distributor sales representatives through coaching programs
  • Support sales development strategies for Bosch Car Service
  • Provide product and technical training
  • Coordinate promotional activities for Castrol products
  • Lead the Castrol Volume Incentive Scheme agreements
  • Manage branding and POS communication for spare parts distributors
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports and develop market insights reports
  • Act as the single point of accountability for sales processes in the region

Qualifications for Success

  • Secondary education or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Fluency in English and Italian is crucial
  • Experience in customer and channel management
  • Experience working across multiple organizational layers
  • Proven experience in executing marketing programs and activation offers
  • Knowledge of products & services, customer segmentation, and channel management
  • Skills in account strategy, customer relationship management, and contract negotiation
