Account Manager

Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for selling products, systems, and services within a designated market/division, aligned with division strategy. You will achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable growth in orders, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help identify and develop new sales opportunities. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with customers about delivery times, payments, and terms, aligned with ABB’s offerings and strategy.
  • Ensuring effective marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and developing new market opportunities within the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities as needed.

Qualifications
  • Experience managing customer accounts and sales strategies.
  • At least 3 years of direct sales experience, particularly with Instrument & Analytical products/solutions in relevant industries.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales tools (experience with SFDC is a plus).
  • Strong communication and customer relationship skills, with a solution-focused approach.
  • A degree in Engineering is advantageous.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
